Dr. Hicks completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and his DDS and MDS degrees at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the Second District Dental Society.

Dr. Hicks is an Invisalign® Certified Provider. He has been practicing in Farragut since 2002 and is very involved in both local clubs and civic service organizations. He is also an active member of a Farragut church where he co-teaches a young adult class and is involved with middle school youth ministry.

Dr. Hicks and his wife Kimberly, a pediatrician, met while attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and finished their formal training together in Memphis. They reside in the Farragut community with their two sons, Griffin and Braden, who keep them busy with baseball, soccer, and golf.

On a more personal note, Dr. Hicks not only enjoys golfing, four-wheeling and family adventures, but is also a competitive cyclist in the East Tennessee area. In addition to local competitions, he and his wife have traveled around the world doing advanced cycling tours, including the Italian Alps, Ireland, and the Canadian Rockies. He hopes to continue to see parts of the world unseen to him, on two wheels of course.
